2010 Fesitval – 50th!
Just a few of the many great videos from the 2010 Festival posted on YouTube.
Wooden Sky & Ohbijou
Capturing a bit of the Beer Tent ambiance. Collaborations between acts have always been a long standing highlight at the Festival
Serena has been a Mariposa favourite since her first visit. A beautiful A-cappella version of her gret tune “Sing, Sing”.
Les Tireaux d’Roches
Blowing away the crowd on the Main Stage.
Ashley MacIsaac with Quinn Bachand
Tearing it up; the master and the young protégé.
You gotta love a performer who brings his own floating stage with him. This song, “Whistlewing”, is on the Mariposa Complilation CD. Thanks for the use of your stage James.
Great tune, and a nice chat about homemade birth control … hmmmm.
Ian Tyson & Sylvia Tyson
A tear inducing, impromptu, classic event. Sylvia joins Ian on stage for Four Strong Winds. Everyone was deeply touched. Thank you both.
Videos from the 2010 Showcase event can be found here.
Headliners: Gordon Lightfoot, Ian Tyson, Sylvia Tyson, Murray McLauchlan, Serena Ryder, Ashley MacIsaac, Les Tireux d’Roches, Jason Collett

Six String Nation
The good folks at Six String Nation joined us for the 50th and took hundreds of photos of attendees with their special guitar named “Voyageur”. Clicking on their wonderful photo of Ruth Jones-McVeigh will take you to the “flickr” site where you can enjoy all of the photos taken at the 2010 Festival. They are spectacular!
