Festival Chairs and Blankets
In consideration of all of our audience members, chairs, blankets and other personal effects may not be left overnight. Please remove them when you leave the festival site for the day. All items left behind will be removed each night after the close of the main stage and placed in an unsecured compound located behind the accreditation tent (see map) where they may be retrieved during festival hours. You may also drop your personal effects off at the compound to avoid lugging them to your car at the end of the evening (except Sunday evening). All items left overnight are left at your own risk. Thank you for your cooperation. Your fellow audience members thank you too.

Gates open at 4:00 p.m. on Friday and at 10:00 a.m. Saturday and Sunday.

Child Registry
With Mariposa’s Child Registry program, you may register your child at the Information Booth located in the middle of the festival grounds (see map). Your child will receive a numbered wrist band, and you will be issued a verification card with the same number. Should you become separated, volunteers will assist you in locating your child. In the event that you find a lost child, banded or not, please proceed to the Information Booth. In the event that the Information Booth is closed, please go to Site Communications behind the main stage. Of course, parents and guardians are responsible for the children under their care at all times.
Accessibility
Mariposa tries to make the Festival as accessible as possible to people with physical limitations:
Accessible Parking
50 accessible parking spots are available at the front gate (Accessible Parking Permit required). If all of the designated accessible parking spots are occupied when you arrive, our parking volunteers will help you find a suitable parking alternative.
Accessible Toilets
There are accessible ‘portapotties’ in each bank of washrooms located on the festival site. If they do not meet your needs, an accessible washroom in the Barnfield Recreation Centre (near the accessible parking area) will be open until 11:00 p.m. each day of the Festival.
Large Print Stage Schedule
Large print stage schedules are available in the Information Tent.
Accessible Trails
There are packed dirt roads or paved trails leading right to most of the attractions on the festival site.
See the site map for the locations of accessible parking, toilets and trails.
