Media Accreditation

We are now accepting registrations from media wishing to cover and report on the Mariposa Folk Festival taking place July 5-7, 2013, in Orillia, Ontario.

Accredited media are expected to demonstrate that they will publish content about Mariposa Folk Festival in the weeks leading up to the Festival, and/or publish coverage of the festival in the days following. Free lance journalists, photographers and videographers must similarly demonstrate that the content will be published. No content gleaned from the festival, whether photo, audio, video or written account, may be offered for sale to a third party. Accredited media will be provided full access to the festival site.

Artist Interviews
Mariposa Folk Festival will assist media in lining up pre-festival interviews with artists as well as interviews at the festival. Please note that various factors play into artist interview decisions, and Mariposa cannot guarantee access to any particular artist. To fill in the Interview Request Form, click here.
