The Performers!
A classic lineup for a classic year!
Orillia’s Biggest Crowd Ever
The 50th Anniversary event attracted the largest crowd ever in Mariposa’s home town. And, what a enthusiastic, considerate crowd you were! Thank you all for coming, we will see you again next year.
Dignitaries
The 50th Anniversary saw the return of many of its historical contributors to help celebrate the event. Just look at how far what you started has come Ruth Jones-McVeigh.
Artisan’s Village
Another year of great art, clothing, crafts, jewellery, pottery … you get the idea. Thank you all for the many long hours you put in at your booths.
Using Our Photo Galleries
Using this gallery, and all of our others, is simple. Clicking on any of the photos on this page will take you to the related thumbnails. Clicking on any thumbnail will take you to the slide-show. Clicking anywhere on the slide-show, other than the controls, will take you back to the thumbnail page. After that, clicking on your back button will bring you back here. Enjoy!
The In-Festival Volunteers!
Over 600 dedicated volunteers worked throughout the weekend to make it all happen. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
Food Vendors
Kept us all fed and fueled for fun! A difficult task considering the record crowd.
Guitars, Guitars, Guitars
Many of the guitars produced for the Streets Alive project Guitars on Parade were on display at the Festival site. The PDF file of the souvenir guidebook is now available for download on the Guitars on Parade page. Better still, pop up into our office and purchase a copy. They only cost $2.00.
Folkplay
A longtime favourite of families, and our youngest attendees. And, with its own incredible lineup of performers and activities.
