Dubbed a Reggae Sensation by CBC Radio, Ianspotting is a vibrant, reggae-influenced band that hails from Kingston, Ontario that is, not Jamaica, but it doesn't matter which becuase their music is just great! Ianspotting was crowned winners of Kingston's KROCK 105.7 Bandslam competition in 2007. More recently, they represented Kingston and the surrounding area in the Bodog Battle band competition held in Toronto, where they shared the stage with some of Ontario's top up-and-coming bands.
In 2008, Ianspotting released their first full-length album, Good Question. The recording, a great blend of several genres of music, has been met with praise from both fans and critics alike.
In their short time together, Ianspotting has become a recognizable name on Kingston's eclectic music scene and has played countless shows across Ontario, impressing audiences with their dynamic live show.
Ianspotting is Shaun Weima (vocals, guitar), Andrew Weima (guitar, vocals), Rob Radford (drums, vocals), and Chuck Thomas (bass).
