The Food Vendor Application for 2017 is now open. Applications are due by February 7 12:00 noon.
Please note that successful applicants are required to indicate that you have read and agree to be bound by the Food Vendor General Guidelines and the Food Vendors Health and Safety and Electrical Guidelines. Please make sure that you carefully read these guidelines, as they impart a good deal of information about Festival operations and contain some restrictions on how you operate your business over the weekend, should you be successful in your application. Please note that by applying to be a vendor at the festival you are agreeing to be bound by these Guidelines. Please note as well, that email will be the primary method of communication between food vendors and festival organizers (firstname.lastname@example.org).
Applicants will be notified of the outcomes of the judging process by March 14th. For the successful applicants, there will then follow further communication regarding the following requirements: cashable vendor security deposit of $250.00 (due April 11th), Health Unit Special Occasion Permit and proof of your certified compostable serving ware purchase (due May 9th). As well, a contract will be executed confirming the terms on which you have been selected to sell food at the Festival, and your electrical equipment and requirements (due April 11th). Please note that no changes will be permitted to the contracts once executed, so it is critical to ensure that your pricing, menu items and electrical needs as outlined on the application, are a true representation of your intended service at the festival.
