Mariposa volunteers work a minimum of 12 hours during the 3 days of the festival. There is an orientation/training session to learn about your job and meet your team lead and other volunteers. For contributing your time, Mariposa Folk Festival volunteers receive free admission to the festival; as well as a souvenir Mariposa Volunteer t-shirt.

volunteer parking

Due to intense demand for parking and limited availability, volunteers are offered free parking nearby and a free shuttle bus to the festival site.

BUS SCHEDULE

Volunteers may also opt to pay the $10 per day audience parking fee to park at the site, subject to availability. We encourage volunteers to consider supporting our greening initiative by riding a bicycle to the festival and placing it in the bicycle lock-up.
