Mariposa Folk Arts Forum

We regret to announce that this year's Mariposa Folk Arts Forum has been cancelled due to low registration numbers. We thank all those who have supported this project, especially the wonderful faculty, volunteers, and registrants.

Mariposa Folk Arts Forum, what is it?

It is a series of artistic workshops that are available to anyone and everyone over the age of 16 who would like to fine tune an already acquired artistic talent or explore a new one.

The showcase is for up-and-coming performers who wish to play the Mariposa Folk Festival. Watch this space for details.


On November 10th, 2007 Murray McLauchlan and Lynne Hurry were inducted into the Mariposa Hall of Fame during a ceremony at Hugh's Room. Check out the review by Mike Hill.
