Greening Mariposa

We have made big reductions in Mariposa’s environmental footprint over the years thanks to the dedicated efforts of our volunteers and audience, and the  ’greening’ of Mariposa Folk Festival continues.

One very important thing Mariposa does is dispense municipal water (Orillia has great water) free of charge, so bring your own reusable mug or buy one at the Festival.

We also use only compostable cups, plates and cutlery for food and beverage service at the Festival.
